Beyond the ordinary
The album ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฎ is a concept album telling a story set in a dystopian future where a young man finds a guitar in a cave and discovers the lost art of music.
The moment a character finds a musical instrument in the Rush song of ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฎ occurs in the third section of the epic suite, titled ๐๐๐.
Note that there is the sound of running water at the beginning of ๐๐๐. This could be sound associated with a waterfall - such as the one in the video I like to think that the intro to Discovery really is the sound of
What can this strange device be?
When I touch it, it gives forth a sound.
It's got wires that vibrate, and
give music.
What can this thing be that I found?
Sounds that build high like a
mountain, Or notes that fall
gently, like rain.
Excited by his discovery, the
protagonist attempts to share the instrument and its music with the ruling Priests of the Temples of Syrinx, hoping they will allow people to make their own music. However, the priests destroy the instrument and dismiss his find as
